I Swear I Have ADHD (How to stop swearing and DO something about it!)

I Swear I Have ADHD (How to stop swearing and DO something about it!)

Hosted by Cara Thorpe

This workshop is lead  by Cara Thorpe founder of Yellow Parachute.

ADHDers are 300% more likely to become entrepreneurs—because our brains are wired for innovation, resilience, and thinking outside the box. But even with that incredible wiring, many of us still feel overwhelmed, scattered, or unsure how to manage everyday life.

This workshop is here to shift that story. Together, we’ll unpack the unique strengths and struggles that come with the ADHD brain and explore ways to work with your mind—not against it.

These core ideas were introduced in the first session—but don’t worry if you’re joining for the first time! Each session is fluid, and Cara will continue to revisit these themes and provide supportive tools for all participants.

  1. Why You’re Probably Here
A breakdown of common ADHD challenges—and how they show up differently for each of us.

  2. I Thought It Was Just Me
A moment to reflect on the power of shared experience and the diversity within the ADHD community.

  3. What Exactly Are Executive Function Skills?
A deep dive into 12 skills that help with planning, regulating emotions, getting things done, and more.

  4. Now What?
A guided practice in applying what you’ve learned—so you can take aligned action in a way that works for you.

Walk away feeling seen, equipped, and empowered to create a life that fits your brain and your goals—on your terms.
